Space Pirate

Made for the monthly character design challenge #40.
I had so much fun making this character. I struggled on the mechanical parts since I wanted them to look believable and appealing but in the end I think the missing limb turned pretty well.
I tried to transpose classical pirates' characteristics in a sci-fi univers like the missing limbs and hook that became foot propeller and electrifying claws, the missing eyes turned into a electronic gadget, the tricorn shaped helmet and the drone that replace the parrot.
I spent a lot of time on the line art but I feel like it worth it, I'm pretty happy of how it came out. The coloring though tend to make it not as readable as I would want to since I tend to not prioritize the elements on my artworks, so I steel have some progress to make.
